Highlights
This report aims to provide a systematic review of national and local policies and practices and to conduct an overall situation analyses on the development of child welfare in 2010 from seven perspectives: children's basic livelihood, caretaking, healthcare, education, protection, disability rehabilitation and participation of non-government organisations in child welfare. While recognising the significant progress and breakthroughs in China's child welfare, we believe three major challenges remain.
